Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 Review by Trusted Reviews

Review (Summary): "At first glance, the TZ5 seems like a bit of an anachronism. In a camera market dominated by ever smaller and more complex ultra-compacts, the TZ5 is quite large and heavy, measuring 103.3 x 59.3 x 36.5mm (4.07 x 2x33 x 1.44") and weighing a substantial 240g (8.47 ounces) including battery and memory card, close to twice the weight and thickness of a typical ultra-compact ...

Nikon Coolpix S52 Review by Think Camera

Review (Summary): "... The Nikon Coolpix S52 is one of the nicest looking cameras we've seen from the company, with a smart silver front piece benefiting from a subtle curve, and a polished black back end, most of which is taken up by the large three-inch LCD screen. As is often the case on compacts now, there's no room for an optical viewfinder, so all this visual acreage will come in handy. ...

Pentax K200D Digital SLR Review by DPReview

Review (Summary): "Despite of a fairly tempting price point the K200D certainly does not compromise on features. It comes with a CCD-shift type 'Shake Reduction' system, Dust Removal and Pentax' 11-point Safox VIII AF system. Very unusually for this class of camera it also sports a weather-sealed body and a relatively large viewfinder with 96% coverage and a magnification of 0.85. What you won't get though is a live view system. .

Adobe Lightroom 2.0 Review by Cameratown

Review (Summary): "Just last week Adobe released Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.0 with major improvements for photographers and advanced hobbyists. Many of the improvements that found their way into Lightroom 2.0 were ones suggested by users who had the chance to work with a beta version of 2.0 while it was still in development. Rocky Nook Releases Book on Digital Infrared Photography

To record the "invisible light" has always been an intriguing and fascinating experiment. The infrared part of the light spectrum is outside the range of what the human eye can see, but with a digital camera, we are able to record only this "invisible light' while blocking the "visible" part. The results are often unusual, yet beautiful, renderings of otherwise fairly common scenes, and this new book from Rocky Nook - Digital Infrared Photography (Rocky Nook, $24.95) will show you how.
