Gracefully Framed Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Making Pictures Worth a Thousand Words

BOYERTOWN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Area artist [TAG]Grace Pirog[/TAG] is celebrating her 20th year in business providing professional [TAG]picture-framing[/TAG] services to the community. Located at 112 East Philadelphia Avenue in the heart of historic Boyertown, Grace owns and operates Gracefully Framed (www.gracefullyframed.com).

Gracefully Framed is a full-service framing company covering all styles of photo, art and memorabilia framing from traditional to contemporary. Although some of the finished products appear to be rooted in traditional framing, all of the works that Gracefully Framed produces incorporate the very latest in framing technologies. Grace also prides herself in offering the artwork of both local and internationally known artists.

A company promotional piece quips, “Little known fact... a picture is only worth 347 words until Gracefully Framed.” Although the slogan is delivered with some levity, Grace takes the responsibility very seriously.

“We pride ourselves in using only the best materials and technologies to preserve and protect our customer’s valued pieces,” she said. “We know that every piece brought through our door is important to someone and that makes it important to us. It’s very rewarding to us to take that piece and surround it with the perfect frame that will most accurately compliment the piece while protecting it for decades to come.

According to Grace, her company only uses acid-free mats and sports hundreds of styles of frames that are replenished weekly. Gracefully Framed also utilizes computerized mat cutting services which cleanly and accurately carve out hundreds of various design combinations including decorative corners and multiple openings that further compliment the piece beneath.

Additionally, Gracefully Framed offers specialty glass types including Conservation Glass which blocks 98% of harmful UV rays and Museum Glass which – in addition to blocking the UV rays – is nearly invisible to the naked eye.

Grace Pirog graduated from nearby Kutztown University with a degree in Art Education and later added Elementary Education to her credits. After using her degree to educate Kindergarten students for more than 15 years, she attended the New England Academy of Framing in Keene, NH. Upon earning her stripes at the academy, Grace operated her framing business from her home for 13 years before expanding to the current Boyertown store front. " -
